Located on the waterfront in Seaport Village, the bar offers excellent delicacies and drinks from all over the world. You can have your favorite beer from among the great beer list and umbrella drinks. You can find recipes here with exotic spices and sauces which make you yearn for more. The settings are laid- back and casual, but remember to wear your Hawaiian prints to fit in perfectly with the decor. Entrees range from simple, down home cooking of juicy hamburgers and surfboard- shaped pizzas to Wok- Seared Scallops, Hawaiian Pork Luau and Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The menu's actually an international anthology of surfer- bar grub - - and like Waimea Bay's waves, it has huge ups and downs. Skip the greasy "Short Board" pupu platter and risky daily fish special and go for the well- seasoned crab cakes, fish tacos, spicy "paella" (more like jambalaya), or pizza.
Couple exceptional cuisine with exquisite scenery and the result is bound to be a memorable dining experience. The Beach House's libations are impressive. There are also plenty of non- alcoholic smoothies that can turn an ordinary dinner into a fiesta.
Hours vary by season; restaurant winter hours: Labor Day through Memorial Day: Monday- Thursday 8am - 9pm, Friday 8am - 10pm, Saturday 7am - 10pm, Sunday 7am - 9pm; Summer hours closing one hour later.
The Longboard Bar is open one hour later than the restaurant.
