Most of the Birch Aquarium's school programs are aligned with California State Science Standards and National Science Standards to promote ocean sciences through hands- on experience.

A comprehensive guide about sharks includes information about the habitat, biology, behavior and mythology of 120 species of sharks.
Admission: adults; seniors (60+); .50 youth ages 3- 17 and students; children two and under are free.
