Spanish Village Art Center was built in 1935 with the style of Spanish- style cottages in San Diego's historic Balboa Park.

San Diego artists continue to preserve and enhance this historical landmark by adding to its beauty with colorful flowers and unique entryways.

The Center has a collection of 37 individual artist- working studios. A number of artisans demonstrate their talents in various mediums, creating one- of- a- kind pieces. The museum provides the basic tactics to various art techniques so that new learners can develop the art and those who already know can brush up their existing skills.

Kids Summer Art & Clay Camp 2006, Basketry, Painting, Drawing, Masking, Wire Working workshops, Basic polymer clay techniques, Silk Painting etc. are the medium which museum presents to the learner.

Hours: Open daily 11am - 4 pm (except Thanksgiving, December 25 and January 1).

Admission: Free.
