Located in historic Old Town San Diego, the "birthplace of California," the Whaley House is a powerful catalyst for preservation by raising awareness and appreciation of our region's architectural and cultural heritage.

Being San Diego's first commercial theatre it owns a ballroom, a general store, a billiard hall, a school and a polling space. The Museum building features the café and the museum shop. The café offers the indoor and outdoor patio dinning and the museum shop offers souvenirs, t- shirts, gifts, greeting cards and children's books.

Awareness regarding the preservation of region's architectural and cultural heritage is done by SOHO- Save Our Heritage Organization which is a non profit organization.

Every day visitors come to experience the cultural history in great numbers. They extract knowledge from each and every wall of the museum. This is the reason why this place is known as the “America's Most Haunted.”

Museum Hours:
Regular Hours: Mon & Tue 10am- 5pm, Thu 10am- 9pm, Fri & Sat 10am- 11pm, Sun 10am- 9pm.
