SeaWorld San Diego, one of a chain of marine mammal parks all over the United States, is located at Mission Bay.  It is popular for its dolphin shows, its Shamu adventure show that features killer whales, and its Shark Encounter, where participants are given a chance at a close encounter with a shark.
