This is a beautiful oceanfront restaurant and bar in beautiful Mission beach. The Canes Bar & Grill is famous for Hurricane drinks. ‘Canes' is short for ‘Hurricanes'. The drinks offered here are named after forceful weather events.

‘Canes' is one of the best places to dine or enjoy famous drinks and music. You can dine at the rooftop deck viewing the ocean or the sun slowly sinking into the sea. They have a special event known as ‘Happy Hour' from every Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. till sunset to mark this occasion.

The menu is full of sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta, appetizers and salads. The food is delicious and affordable. There are three banquet rooms with a capacity of about 800 persons. You can view ocean from any banquet room. Special events like receptions, weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, dinners, birthdays or other parties can also be celebrated. The professional staff is well prepared to cater to your different needs.

The San Diego Reader declared Canes as one of the best live music venues in town. Hawaiian shirts, birds of paradise and Palm fronds are found in abundance here. Dance floor is large enough.
