Behrooz Farahani, the owner of Bandar, set up an elegant restaurant. It has Persian cuisines with mouth- watering flavors. The restaurant itself has won numerous awards over the years for its kitchen's creations.

Bandar prepares the finest Persian food in the city (36 dishes). Bold flavors such as garlic, onion, dill, and mint predominate, adding up to impressions of complexity and intrigue rather than spicy heat. There is a warm and courteous service with affordable prices.

The restaurant specializes in charbroiled, fat- free dishes served with Basmati rice or saffron. An outstanding favorite entree is the juicy marinated Filet Mignon Shish Kabob. The lamb shank dishes are also popular. Vegetarian meals are available as well.

The essences of lentils and black cherries, among other things, are infused in the rice for a whirl of flavor.
