George Bullington, a jockey agent at Santa Anita Racetrack, and J.D. Dahlen opened Bully's La Jolla in the Birdrock area in 1966. With the efforts and dedication shown by J.D. Dahlen, the restaurant attained great levels of avhievement.

This Bully's has a slightly different menu. It caters to an older crowd during happy hours (4:30- 7:30PM daily) and gets quite lively later during nights when a younger contingent turns out. The bar does a big business in classic martinis and the Sunday brunch is renowned for its Bloody Marys. Five TV screens broadcast on big game nights, with food and drink specials.

Located in the heart of Mission Valley, the Bully's East Restaurant, serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The tourists are welcomed warmly with their favorite beverages and great bar food. It is also the perfect place to view your favorite sporting event. The menu offers Australian lobster, Alaska king crab with jumbo Gulf shrimp and creatively prepared fresh fish specials like broiled halibut with lemon- caper butter sauce. It also offers many healthy dining options.

Hours:
Mon to Fri 11am : 12.15pm, sat to Sun 10am : 12.15pm.
