Known for San Diego's most romantic setting, Le Fontainebleau has received the Five Star Diamond award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for three consecutive years as well as the Continental Gold award from the Southern California Restaurant Writers Association.
Located on the second floor of the Westgate Hotel, the restaurant offers daily lunch and dinner, a seafood soiree on Friday nights and a jaw dropping spread for Sunday's champagne brunch.
The Lunch menu offers ahi tuna, traditional Ceaser and Cobb salads, shrimp nui and filet mignon. Dinner highlights include fresh Sonoma duck breast, pan seared noisette of lamb, and sweet butter poached scallops. Combining elements of French, Californian and Asian cuisine, the list includes delicacies as lobster spiced with ginger and tenderloin of beef with broccoli puree and black truffle sauce.
