Quail Botanical Gardens is dedicated to the conservation of rare and endangered plants from across the globe. You are invited for exclusive tours, walks, lectures and instructional programs.

The only botanical garden in San Diego County, this park has one of the world's most diverse plant collections. Scenic trails take visitors to 20 unique gardens, a 60 foot waterfall in a tropical rain forest and North America's largest display of bamboo. Surrounding chaparral area serves as a natural bird refuge. Located on over 30 acres in Encinitas, California, Quail Botanical Gardens features rare bamboo groves, desert gardens, a tropical rainforest, California native plants, Mediterranean climate landscapes, and a subtropical fruit garden.

Group Tours can be arranged for groups of 10 or more. There are certain guidelines which you must follow while you visit the park: No smoking is allowed in the gardens; No pets are allowed in the gardens; No food is allowed in the gardens except in designated picnic areas; Personal photography is allowed during public hours, free of charge. Prior arrangements and fees are required for formal or commercial photography.

Hours of Operation: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.
