Yellow Cab San Diego

For over 80 years, Yellow Cab of San Diego caters to a variety of transportation services in addition to its core taxicab business.

The transportation services include the transportation of blood for the San Diego Blood Bank, transportation of special needs children for the San Diego and Cajon Valley Unified School Districts, Guaranteed Ride- Home Program for San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), and supplemental transportation services for the San Diego Regional Center.

The Yellow Cab operates more than 310 vehicles. It uses the computerized dispatch system. Each of Yellow Cab's vehicles is equipped with a mobile data terminal, a two- way radio, and a credit card swipe. It has been in continuous existence and operation since the 1920's.

The reason of the fame of the Yellow Cab lies in the fact that the employees are dedicated. There are 650 self employed drivers/owners of the Yellow Cab, thereby putting in all the efforts required to meet the customer satisfaction.

The Cab provides services throughout the year, 24- hours a day.
